   Knysna born and bred Anathi is a multi-talented young presenter who is in love with the entertainment    industry and uses her personality and voice to captivate audiences.

   Born and bred in Bloemfontein, Afrika Mdutyulwa aka Smash Afrika is an ambitious, focused and extremely    energetic young man who understands the value of hard work.

His proudest moment was when he received an opportunity to join YFM in 2012 after successfully auditioning to co-host the drive time show with    Tholi B. He co-hosted “En Route 6” with Tholi B in 2013, and in 2015, he hosted his own show “Point Of Order”    every weekday from 03:00- 06:00. Audiences now enjoy a double dose of infotainment every weekday morning from 06:00- 09:00 with Smash Afrika.

When he’s not on radio, you’ll catch him around Jozi’s good food and awesome vibes hot spots, or rocking out to music from his favourite artists    Kanye West and Drake.

MeLo

   ‘Do what makes you happy, and everything else will fall into place’ is a philosophy that Pretoria-born Melo    lives by.

   Joining YFM in 2014 as the host of “The Weekend Wrap Up” was one of her proudest moments. She rocked the airwaves during the weekend mornings as host of    “Melo In The Morning”, and now she has moved to weekday mornings to host “Melo on 10th”.

When not on air, you’ll find her snugged away with a good read from her favourite authors Mary Higgins Clark and    James Patterson or on a white beach somewhere in the world eating great seafood and enjoying a piña colada.

   Mpumalanga-born and bred Khutso Theledi was snapped up by YFM in 2012 while she was completing her studies    in Radio and Sound Engineering at Boston Media House.

   She co-hosted the breakfast show, "Flava In The Morning" with Mo Flava, and went on to co-host “The Raw Rush”    with Thulisa Kanzi in 2015 while holding it down as the host of “Coupe De Grace”. She is also the current    host of the R&B Hot 9 9 chart. This year, she charges up weekend afternoons on “Charged Up”.

   Be electrified on “Charged Up” with Khutso Theledi every weekend from 12:00- 15:00. And get serenaded on the R&B Hot 9 9 with Khutso every Tuesday from    09:00- 10:00 and again from 21:00- 22:00.

DJ SaBBY

   Durban native Sabelo Mtshali aka DJ Sabby has seen his radio career soar to great heights after joining the Y    Academy in 2010.

   His proudest moment was when he landed his own show on YFM in 2012 called “The Adrenaline Rush” before moving to “The Weekend Shakeup in 2013. “The BestThing Ever” rocked the weekday afternoon airwaves in 2014 and 2015, and this year, Sabby will accompany you home on “The Best Drive” with    Tshepi Mabulana every weekday afternoon.

   When he’s off air, you can catch him enjoying a snack or two at his favourite restaurant Olivias or diving into the    cold Atlantic Ocean at his favourite holiday destination, Cape Town.

   Bryce Clarke aka DJ Ankletap rocked Jozi’s airwaves from 2012 as host of “Strictly Tap Nights” as well as “The    Warehouse” after YFM caught hold of the Potchefstroom native.

   In 2013, he opened the doors to the best mansion in Mzansi, “The Tap Mansion” every weekday afternoons and rose to the occasion every weekday morning from    06:00- 09:00 as the host of “Rise N Tap” in 2014 and 2015. He now raises the bar as the host of “The DJ Ankletap Show”.

Admiral has released 2 solo albums fusing Ragga with Kwaito music, and is also awell-known TV film critic and filmmaker. Jah Seed is one of the four iconic members of the multi-platinum selling Afro-Pop group    Bongo Maffin. He also released a solo project “No Retreat No Surrender” which won the first ever    SAMA award for Best Reggae Album in 2011. Together, they released their ragga album, Volume 7 of “Bumparin”.

FeRoZa

   The youngest DJ on the line up, Feroza Moosa is a 19-year-old dancer, rapper and radio DJ who stands’ out amongst the rest as a cool and laidback Dubstep    enthusiast living her life one moment at a time.

   Feroza was born in Eldorado Park but then moved to Buccleuh where she currently lives there with her family.

   She is a genuine lover of music and describes herself as a sociable, bubbly and an extroverted person. Her favourite movie is ‘Insidious’ and she considers    Rihanna as her favourite artist.

   After realising that her talkativeness is her biggest strength, Feroza decided to use her skills to her advantage a join the Y Academy in 2015. This,    turned out to be the best thing she could’ve ever done as it lead to her getting her very own show as the new Dubstep Hot 99 DJ.

   Chandre’a Gabrielle Pretorius, also known as Dj Candii, was born and bred in Eldorado Park.

   Her journey in the industry began back in 2011 when she got an opportunity to present on Eldos Fm. This in turn inspired her to enroll at FUSE Academy, DJ    Zinhle’s DJing school for girls, where she graduated with a Platinum certificate.

   Her mixing style focuses on a combination of tribal and commercial house music.

   In 2013 she was one of twelve applicants chosen for the Y Academy where she successfully completed and received her certificate in Broadcasting.

   With the legendary Just Mo as her mentor, Dj Candii is now the Host of The Hot 99 Dance chart every Friday from 9 to 10am and again from 9 to 10pm.

   Vibrant and ambitious in spirit – Nia Brown, real name Botlhale Baitsiwe, is the embodiment for urban    sophistication and funky freshness.

When she’s off air, you can catch her acting in various TV productions or enjoying a good night out at her favourite hangout spot    Great Dane in Braamfontein.

   Hailing all the way from the East Rand, Xolani "Xtremme" Mthombeni joined YFM in 2013 on "The Playground" and    then moved on to host "Party Central" in 2014.

   Daveyton born Themba Mbolekwa, better known as Entro, entered into the world of radio after successfully    completing the Y Academy in 2014.
