Stones & Bones
Stones & Bones is a Gauteng-based House Band that was formed in 2010. They use a combination of House beats and live instruments to create food for the soul and fresh grooves for the dance floor. Since their formation, their music has spread like a wildfire across the plains of South Africa, Africa and the world.
What makes this group so unique is their ability to combine acoustic instruments with electronic beats and soulful vocals while still maintaining a groove that will rock the dance floor. Their combination of rhythm and melody has crowds dancing and singing like there is no tomorrow.
Hearing the band’s music is amazing but, seeing them perform live is even more mind-blowing. These 2 guys DJ, they sing, they dance, they play guitars, saxophones, keys, synthesizers and almost anything else that they can get their hands on. There is never a dull moment when these guys are on stage.
The music is unique. Whether it’s a heart-warming love song that reaches deep into the soul or a pumping, high energy dance anthem that has the dance floor bouncing, there always remains a distinct "Stones & Bones" flavour. The music feels real and alive. The live instruments give it colour and realness that many producers search for their whole lives.
The combination of KG Bones and CJ Stone is not one that you would expect to see in a House duo. Yet, it works like magic. They have a chemistry and musical understanding between them that transcends language and culture, something that you can only get through making music together for a long time.
KG Bones is the DJ and the lead vocalist. In between, he still finds time to jump on the synthesizer. Having grown up listening to House Music and learning to produce music and play keys in high school, the logical next step for Bones was to sing. As it turns out, he has an incredible voice, filled with soul and emotion. The type of vocalist that can make you miss someone that you have never met.
Casper J Stone or CJ Stone as many know him, has been a musician since he was 13. He learnt to play saxophone and guitar in high school and never looked back. CJ has explored many genres and is proficient in the theory of music. This becomes clear when he picks up a musical instrument. The man knows exactly what the rules are and still has no qualms about breaking them when he bursts into fiery guitar solos or plays soothing melodies on the sax.
Stones & Bones have performed at a wide selection of venues throughout Gauteng and DJ's are already going crazy to get their hands on anything that has been produced or remixed by the duo.
The members of Stones & Bones are fulltime musicians and producers who are single-mindedly focused on their craft. They have all the characteristics that are needed to form a super group and yet, they are pleasant individuals who understand how important music is for the listener, always having time to chat to a fan or fellow producer after a performance.

The Brother Moves On
The Brother Moves On (TBMO) got tired of the idea of being a band and embraced a multi-aestetic multi-disciplinary concept of a collective happening to
new spaces and places.
"Re-challenging hip hop's five pillars(MCing, DJaying, B-boying, graffiti writing and knowledge of self) into a conceptechnic performance art project that
incorporates historical, political and sociological perspectives" the collective hopes to remind and be reminded of the worth of its art.
The Brother Moves On began as a self-proclaimed art movement mainly of graphic and fine artists and since began incorporating instrumentalists for the live
performance environment. The name The Brother Moves On is a grammatical misconfiguration of The Brother Mouzone, a fictional character in the American
television drama series The Wire. In their emerging stages, the movement interrogated the notion that members were each an impermanent part of the process.
Hence the derivation of the name The Brother Moves On.
"The Brother's sound is a tradition-trouncing trans-Atlantic Afro-centric futuristically ancient fusion that jack knifes between offworld spectral
dub-metal, hyperrhythmic rock psychedelia, indie-township and astro-afro-free-jazz."

There's been many descriptions on music and what it means to different people but none has hit home more than the definition that music is the food for the Soul, and ZANO is the chef. Growing up in the mining town of eMbalenhle, Mpumalanga in South Africa, his passion for music was ignited after hearing his older brother sing lead vocals for a gospel choir in the township. In a home of 6 boys music was always a big part of Zano's life as everyone in the house was listening to different genres of music and he absorbed all the sounds that were at his disposal. In 2005 Zano's professional career got a kickstart when he met the legendary SA DJ/ Producer, DJ Christos. The DJ introduced him to the late Lebo Mathosa and SAs house music maestro, DJ Black Coffee. In 2008 he released his first smash hit, "Hello", produced by Black Coffee and the song became a club anthem across SA, Swaziland, Namibia, and Botswana.
Zano's most notable work has been with Black Coffee, being friends since 2005 producing another club anthem was an easy task. In 2010 "Someday" was born, an inspirational/ gospel house music fusion introducing Zano to a much wider audience. The song became an inspirational song of choice for many young people looking to find their identity and the strength to pursue their dreams. Black Coffee's ground-breaking "Africa Rising Live DVD" cemented Zano's name on SA music history books as the performance of the song "Someday" accompanied by a 24-piece orchestra became the most popular song and performance on the DVD.
Fast track to 2015, Zano’s profile has increased to include works with the likes of Ralf Gum, AtJazz & Jullian Gomes, Pascal Morais – and the collaboration that has tongues wagging all over SA and the UK, working with The Layabouts. Artist Name: "Will Rayz" real name Wilson Kubheka Born 12 August 1987 in the in the streets of Jozi. I'm a singer, songwriter, performer and guitarist, covering a couple of genres, Folk Rock, Blues Alternative and some jazz, all with a soulful twist. I've been singing as a long as I could remember. I started out at church, a choir boy and a church band leader, so I guess I was influenced by Hillsong first, but the artist that influenced my current sound and writing are Jamie Cullum, James Morrison, John Mayer, the blues master Gary Clark Jr and God. My music is about life, love, dreams and the struggles people face. I first played guitar in the year 2005 as means to find my own sound and true expression of music. I was taught by a friend who was then a church band leader. In the year 2008 with and assistance of a scholarship, I decided to take this music thing further, by enrolling as a foundation student at Wits School of Art Majoring in Jazz guitars and performance. Let's just my attitude didn't get me that far as a student.
I've always been a performer, but only behind church walls, in my bedroom and during community events held by my church. I truly mastered the courage to perform and share my sound and music in the year 2013 my first "proper" secular gig which featured my original material and Covers was on 5th of November 2013 at Rumours Lounge ( Burning Blue and Friends Open Mic) which got me a R500 music connection voucher and I've been performing ever since with hope to win hearts and live out my dreams. In the year 2014 I entered the "The Battle of the Breedlove Guitar, Singer and Songwriter competition" hosted by Justin Serrao. Out of about 50 solo musicians and after about two months of the competition, I came out 3rd. In the same year quit my job to work as a musician (uncalculated decision which has caused a lot frustrations). Besides quitting my job I experience a whole lot of other set backs which meant I had to start again as a musician alone without a manager.
I've had an honor of opening for the hit making hip hop folk band "Rubber Duc" and share the stage several times, with Justin Serrao and Howie Combrink and a few other musicians that are dominating the folk scene.
Most people describe my sound as soulful, so I've decided to go along with that, I believe very soon I'll take over the music industry and possibly become one of South Africa's sensation. Ultimately my biggest dream is to travel the world, share the music, represent the advancing music industry of South Africa, grow and be in an influential position that allows me to help others who have great music gifting that wanna make it as full time musicians.
Otherwise, as I always say to most people, I'm still a work in progress and most people that have heard me sing and play haven't heard the fullness of the gifting.

Tebogo Patience Sedumedi better known as Aus Tebza is one of south African jewels. She's one of the first few women in SA to be known for rocking a musical instrument. "She is a bass player of note", some would claim. Some call her the funk mistress, groove master and bass queen. My interest in music has been evident from childhood. My moms says I could sing to every song that came on tv at the age of 3. The funny thing about all of this is didn't grow up in a musical environment. This is why I proclaim its all God given!!!
I pursued music full time after I had to drop out of Varsity due to financial constraints. I worked hard and opened an all girl band called DEEVA and also started performing with other local bands. Then an opportunity came for DEEVA to work with HHP for a year! When restructuring of HHP's band took place, I was asked to stay and that's how all other things began. I worked with Gang of Instrumentals, Rae, Maxhoba. And did numerous sessions for other well known artists. She's done theatre as well.
Aus Tebza is the first female in SA to be in a houseband for Channel O awards 2009, South African Music awards for 2011 and 2012, Houseband for the RESPECT show on SABC 1. Aus Tebza has shown her charisma to the other countries like Botswana, Swaziland, Nigeria, Germany, USA etc. You can sure expect her to be around for a long time as she's busy working on her solo project, recording with her female band Deeva, recording with her rock band Kite rider. She's also gonna be trying her hand on production.
Watch out for this rising star! Like one of her fans shouted "You are star shining through the sun!"

The last of the mixtapes, titled "Frwednesday" is a prelude to "Famlove", with the intention of turning listeners to friends. Fratpack fuse hip hop, alternative rock and electronic sounds to make progressive and sonically appealing music with a message. Having killed the "Back to the city 2013" stage; fratpack put their music on the mark with journos referring to their performance as part of the most memorable of 2013, reminiscent of 90's Hip Hop.
