After dropping two albums in two weeks, it’s almost a sure thing that Atlanta rapper Future is about to make Billboard history by being the first artist to have two albums debut at No.1 in consecutive weeks.
Future started things off on Valentine’s Day when he announced via Instagram that his self-titled fifth studio album would be released on February 17 and exactly a week later Future then dropped another album titled HNDRXX without any warning. To date, Future’s self-titled album has sold 140 000 equivalent copies in only its first week and has been streamed more than 109 million times debuting at No.1 on the Billboard Top 200. Industry projections now say that Future’s HNDRXX album might be his second album to reach the No.1 spot in as many weeks making him the first artist in Billboard history to debut at No.1 in consecutive weeks.
Even with all that is happening right now, there are some rumours that Future might be releasing a third album in three weeks as he attempts to drop three No.1 albums in 3 weeks.
This comes after The Ellen DeGeneres Show said that Future would appear on the show on Thursday March 2 with the episode description saying that Future “is attempting to have three #1 albums in three weeks – which will make him the first in history to do that!” His manager did however shut the claims down after The Fader sent out a tweet about Future’s fourth album.
Future on the other hand has been too busy to respond to the rumours as he celebrates having both his albums debuting at #1 and #2.

Future has also been busy making music videos as he released two of his videos in quick succession as well as featuring in a raunchy video with Ariana Grande.
